A university town is the grip of hysteria following the ritualistic murder of a series of students. Chief suspect in the scandal is wild-eyed physics major Matt Collins. But despite mounting evidence to contrary, Matt protests his innocence. It also doesn't help that he keeps finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, or that hIs troubled background is the subject of intense Police scrutiny.

Just as Matt is struggling to clear his name, a strange and terrifying stalker appears, causing him to fear for his own life. With the Police on one side, and a potential killer on the other, Matt begins a frantic race against time to discover the true identity of the serial killer, and that of his mysterious nemesis.

Returning to his roots, Matt is suddenly forced to deal with issues he believed were buried in the past. Issues that will inevitably lead him to a shocking and life-changing revelation.
