Genre Salon Films is a new cutting-edge company based in London UK, with plans to be at the forefront of the new renaissance in British filmmaking. Inspired by the success of companies such as Miramax in the 80s and 90s and HBO today, Genre Salon will focus on producing original independent films, TV shows and documentaries, as well as more commercial ‘tent-pole’ projects.

Genre Salon is the brainchild of writer and director Patrick Astwood, who has 15 years experience in screenwriting and story development. Patrick works in collaboration with talented UK producer, James Davidson, who, before his move into film enjoyed a successful 16 year career in creative and marcomms agencies, which saw him produce numerous commercials and live events in the UK and internationally.
